Our Deaf Adoption Journey

Welcome Home!

December 14, 2010

We had the coolest experience last night. Several from our church were able to meet at the airport to watch our friend Janet Whipple arrive with Micah. It was pretty awesome to see people meet their little brother, grandson, or nephew for the first time. We have a great church family and it just got a little better with Micah. We’re really excited to get to know him better. And, it sure made us excited about a similar day for our family in the future.

On a side note, I sold my saxophone on eBay, so that will help with some of the adoption fees. We’ve sent off our formal home study application and now we’re waiting to hear back from them. Lauri is starting the dossier building process. Just reading the instructions could take days.
